The face is cleansed, and a toner is used to remove excess grease or oil. Using a surgical scalpel, unwanted oil, dead skin cells, and vellus hair are scraped away from the top layer of skin. The dermaplane facial treatment is done over each area of the face and removes the right amount of dead skin without hurting healthy layers. Other issues, such as uneven skin tones, blackheads, and acne, can also be extracted to make sure the skin is fresher and healthier. Following this, chemical peels and other treatments may be applied, as dermaplaning facial is very gentle to the skin. The result is a glowing complexion that appears fresher but not “done.”
