Board-certified in both dermatology and obesity medicine, Dr. Reid combines expertise in skin health with a comprehensive understanding of metabolic processes and weight management to achieve their optimum health inside and out.
As a dermatologist, Dr. Reid specializes in medical, surgical, integrative, and cosmetic dermatology. She is a certified Integrative Dermatologist and is well versed in both conventional and complementary care for skin diseases. Her clinical interests and competencies are wide ranging, and include diagnosis and treatment of ethnic skin, alopecia, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, and the diagnosis and management of skin cancer, as well as cutting-edge cosmetic, injectable and laser treatments to encourage the proaging process. She is an utmost expert in her field in injectable and laser based cosmetic treatments for all skin types. Her extensive knowledge ensures personalized, evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
In addition to dermatology, Dr. Reid is a board-certified obesity medicine specialist, passionate about guiding patients on their weight loss and wellness journey. By integrating advanced medical knowledge, accurate and effective use of injectable and oral medications with compassionate support, she empowers individuals to achieve sustainable and transformative health outcomes. These medications are carefully selected based on a patient’s health profile, goals, and medical history, ensuring a safe approach to weight management. Dr. Reid is from Washington, DC and completed her medical school training at Georgetown University School of Medicine and her dermatology residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York. She is an active fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and Skin of Color Society.
